Return policy
At Carter’s, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order for any reason, we’re here to help! Please review our return policy below.
Return Period
You may return most items within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached.
How to Initiate a Return
- Prepare Your Package: Include the item(s) you wish to return in their original packaging.
- Fill Out the Return Form: Please complete the return form included in your shipment. If you no longer have the form, you can download a new one from our website.
- Ship Your Return: Use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance for items over $75 to ensure they are returned safely.
Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is a result of our error (e.g., incorrect or defective item).
Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund within 7-10 business days. You will receive an email notification once your return has been processed.
Exchange Policy
If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or color, please follow the return process to send back the original item and place a new order for the desired item.
